Icon Design
Icons allow to coin the visual identity of a GUI without changing standard controls. In addition, a crucial aspect of icons is their importance in improving the usability of the system. Memorable and intuitive icons enhance the self-descriptiveness of the interface, enable the various functions to be quickly registered, raise the user’s visual orientation, and thereby assist the process of familiarization with software.
Conception and development of icon style
When developing a set of icons, we first draw up several different icon styles, taking into account not only any limitation arising from the nature of the platform and the subject area, but also the relevant standards. Take Iphone application, for example, the standards specified in 59*60(pix) size.
Design and Production of the Required Icons
Once the icon style has been established, the individual symbols that are required are designed and created as graphics files. Icons are supplied in the required sizes and states. In addition, we also supply you with rendering specifications for the different states of icons.
